Star Trek: The Next Generation, Medical Tricorder

Working tricorder used during the filming of the Next Generation and possibly the first couple of seasons of DS9. When opened, lights flash and the screen backlights (although it is hard to get a good photo of everything "going" at once). I also have the medical scanner to go with this piece which fits into the top slot of the prop.  The screencaps show similar tricorders to mine in use on the show (screencaps courtesy of the StarTrekGuy).
