Star Trek: The Original Series, McCoy Large Field Medical Kit

This type of medkit was carried by McCoy, worn on the hip, through most of the second and third seasons. Larger than the earlier field kit, it has a trifold design, interior pockets for a hypo and other instruments, scanner loop, and additional sample tubes on the inside of the long flap.

Build from direct inspection of the surviving original props. Hand-stitched leather pouch, with velcro fasteners. Machined aluminum Mark 2 spray hypo, with dampened working plunger and magnetically latched drug vials. Aluminum spray healer and field reader.
