New converts to the Necromonger faith, both voluntary and involuntary, are made to undergo a painful process from which they emerge permanently scarred and nearly unable to feel further pain, echoing the torture that had been endured by the first Lord Marshal, Covu The Transcended. This piece was used in a long shot of recruits receiving the Marks, but not in the extremely brief hero shot.
