Star Trek: Voyager, Maquis Vest - Lt. Ayala

This item is the Maquis vest worn by veteran extra Taryk Ergin as 'Lieutenant Ayala' (Junior Grade-Provisional/ex-Maquis), an actor who was a background player in many of episodes of Star Trek: Voyager but only had lines in four episodes.  He wore this vest in the Pilot episode, 'Caretaker', and again in the seventh season episodes 'Repression' and 'Shattered'.  

This vest was also used in Star Trek: The Next Generation - Season 7, Episode 4, 'The Gambit' Part 1 - by the bartender.

It is a weathered, brown, leather jacket featuring yellowed, large quilted 'shoulder pads' added to it and several functional pockets including a hidden one on the inside.

The vest has so much screen time it is easy to match the staining and wrinkling to the screen-caps.
