Serenity, Mal's Pistol (Film Version)

This is a reproduction of the sidearm used by Captain Malcolm Reynolds in the film "Serenity", also referred to as the "Big Damn Movie". Alterations made to what was the TV series version (re-used/re-vamped for the film) include a different cartridge casing and a sliding panel on the other side. This is a casting of the screen-used stunt piece. Made of solid-cast resin, and awaiting application of the proper paints to accurately represent the screen-used original. The second pic shows the differences between the film version (top) and TV version of the pistol (bottom).
