Original movie prop oil on canvas Gaugin style painting village scene from the MGM prop house used in numerous films including "Bathing Beauty" (1944) starring Red Skelton, Esther Williams and Basil Rathbone, "Song of the Thin Man" (1947) starring William Powell, Myrna Loy and Keenan Wynn and "Adventure" (1945) starring Clark Gable, Greer Garson and Joan Blondell. Originally from the famous David Weisz Co. auction of MGM in 1970 and has been in storage ever since, until we recently identified it.
