This is A Mark X Medical Tricorder replica seen throughout Star Trek: Deep Space 9
and Voyager.
When opened it makes A ratchet sound Followed by a Scanning sound and over 90 LEDS come on in Sequence accurate to the ones on the show. Press the F1/F2 key and the LEDS sequence changes and you here peeping as if commands are being keyed in, press again than the LEDS blink more raped with a faster scanning sound, and once more the scanning sound stops followed by what sounds like a “flat line” from a heart monitor.
It also has 4 push buttons under the FWD/INPUT, RVS/ERASE, I key, and E key Door graphics which beeps when pressed, and has a magnet installed to keep the door closed. It runs on a Lithium Ion battery with its own charger. The Hand Scanner Is Detachable with Red LEDS that spin around the outside and 1 green LED that blinks at the tip and has its own scanning sound. The Scanner Is Machined Aluminum. Built by David Christian.
