replica movie prop

This is A Mark VI Tricorder replica (Came directly From Original molds), Not! A Kit, and it Functions Exactly like the screen used versions seen in the First(1st)season of TNG.

The Tricorder is an all in one Science/Medical unit with both A Science Hand Scanner & Medical Hand Scanner + the Medical Head attachment for the body.

This replica has Lights but no Sound. This unit has an actual Mechanical Ratchet feather (Not! digital) that Works like the real thing & has a latch/Clasp that keeps the door closed. When opened the unit has over 20 LEDS that come on in Sequence accurate to the ones on the show. The Science Hand Scanner Is Detachable from the main body with A Red LED at the tip and a Green LED on the side that is activated by the top Button. The Medical Scanner works the same and they are both are made of resin. The Medical head magnetically attaches to the front of the main body and houses the med. scanner + it has A Red LED that comes on from a switch underneath. There is also A blue Push button that turns off the lights when pressed Which is located under the “Library” lable.

It runs on a J-type battery and the hand scanner run on small button Cell + the medical head runs on small button Cells as well. This unit with the Real Mechanical feather took TWO (2) years of research to Get it working perfectly ;) and it was well worth the what. Researched and Built by Brett Jones Federation Surplus.
