Star Wars A New Hope, Luke Skywalker Signature Edition Lightsaber

Perhaps the most iconic movie weapon, and a staple for Star Wars collectors, this Luke's lightsaber from A New Hope is the first one to ever appear on screen. Once belonging to Anakin Skywalker, it was taken from him by his former master and teacher, Obi-Wan Kenobi. Over a period of 20 plus years in solitude, Obi-Wan tinkered and ultered the weapon as he distantly watched over Anakin's son, Luke. When he came of age, Obi-Wan bestowed the weapon to Luke and became his mentor, setting the path that would one day make him a great jedi. 

The original prop was fashioned from a old Graflex flash handle. The central band was fitted with a LED bubble lense strip from a Texas Instruments calculator which together formed the lightsaber's control box. Seven molded hand grips were added to the rear along with a d-ring on the pommel. Master Replicas was granted access to the LucasFilm archives and referenced many of the original props and photo sources to recreate this holy grail piece.
