Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, Luke Skywalker Rogue Leader Helmet

Licensed replica of Luke's helmet as worn during Rogue Squadron's desperately heroic snowspeeder attack on the advancing Imperial AT-AT Walkers at the Battle of Hoth.  Battered and burned, reflecting the intervening three years of fighting Imperial forces since the destruction of the Death Star at the Battle of Yavin. 

In addition to heavier weathering, several additional minor changes were made to Luke's helmet since its appearance in ANH, including moving the microphone to the right, removing the microphone noise attenuator tip, threading the chin strap on the inside of the chin cup, and the addition of a nose pad on the visor.  Fiberglass, with plastic and metal details. Padded interior with removable leather ear cups. Designed from digital scans of a screenused X-wing helmet in the Lucasfilm archive, castings of an original visor and chin cup, and an authentic Vietnam-era Navy APH-6B flight helmet.
