Star Wars Episode 6: Return of the Jedi, Luke Skywalker Limited Edition Lightsaber

Master Replicas movie prop

The Luke Skywalker Limited Edition Return of the Jedi Lightsaber by Master Replicas was the piece that started it all. Dating back to 2002, this piece is highly saugh-after and is the first lightsaber that the company replicated. This particular saber is known as the "hero version" and only appears in two scenes: a deleted scene and a scene on the Endor moon. The Endor moon appearence is very brief, and the discerning eye will catch it as Vader inspects it and compliments Luke on constructing his new weapon. The other version of this saber, the V2, is used in nearly every other scene in the movie. Despite its limited screen time, the hero version is most recognized by fans. Toys, action figures, fan-made pieces, etc. are all modeled after the hero, as it is currently in the LucasFilm archives for reference. The original V2 prop is in a private collection. Master Replicas was given direct access to the original hero prop in the archives and took many photos and measurements to produce this unique and rare lightsaber replica. It features a clean stainless steel body with copper-toned accents near the emitter. The control box has two triangle LED's , one red and one green, which lit up on the original prop. There is a triangle ring on the pommel for attachment to a belt. Limited Edition 1574/2500.
