The standard battle rifle of the Imperial Guard.
The design comes straight from a 40K mini, all proportions congruent to the miniature piece...just really really big!
Scratch built entirely by myself. The only found object is the grip the rest was all scratchbuilt.

The body, barrel, magazine, and sight tube are all hollow, so the possibilities for electronics kits and possible airsoft conversion are numerous.
Once I design a bayonet, I will develop a corresponding lug, the mounting points have already been blocked in.
The sight tube is hollow and I plan on developing a lens, LED, and end cap unit for it.
The magazine is held in place by a magnet, it seems fairly sturdy so far a common lever type mag catch is possible though redundant.
The joint between the stock and reciever and the bayonet block are very strong so various sling mounting solutions are possible.
