At the beginning of INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM, Indy meets with the crime lord Lao Che at his nightclub, Club Obi-Wan, to obtain this large diamond, the fabled "Eye of the Peacock". The Chinese gangster was willing to trade it for a jade funerary urn containing the ashes of the emperor Nurhachi.
