In fifth season episode The Game, a psychotropically addictive neuro-optical game played through this headset quickly overcomes the Enterprise crew, and it's up to a visiting Wesley Crusher to save the day, with the help of Ashley Judd as the delightfully perky Ensign Robin Lefler. 

Adjustable headpiece, with painted resin pods, working illumination as seen onscreen, acrylic arms, and brass emitter tips.  One panel missing when the prop was auctioned has since been restored.
