Former Nazi assassin Karl Ruprecht Kroenen reappears in 2004, after being severely injured and then vanishing decades earlier at the Project Ragna Rok battle. Mixing science and black magic, Kroenen's lifeforce now rests in a clockwork heart, allowing him to dramatically speed up or alternatively temporarily stop his metabolism, controlled by this ornate arcane key. 

 

Multiple complex etched brass teeth (matched to screencaps) soldered to a brass rod, with 3D-modeled and printed plastic handle, heavily aged and corroded.  No mechanism.
