A very rare full set of Icons Klingon disruptors (Serial #25). From my investigation no more then 15 complete sets ever made it out before Icons closed their doors. My set is technically serial #2 but when I placed my order I convinced them to strike me plate #25 to match the serial number of my Icons D-7 cruiser I had purchased the year before. The set includes (top to bottom) the ST:TMP Deathsting, ST:TNG Beaknose, and the TOS disruptor. As an interesting note- this originally shipped without the TOS disruptor as they had obtained an original prop (probably from Matt Jeffries?) and were re-tooling it. When I heard Icons was sinking fast I hounded them daily to send me the TOS disuptor- my disruptor arrived postmarked the day Icons went out of business. Again, to the best of my ability roughly half the sets that were released ever received their TOS disruptor. Also, the Deathsting and Beaknose were produced ONLY for the set- there were no individual ones that were made for sale unlike the TOS disruptor. The sale of individual 'stings and 'noses was apparently planned to occur at some future time, but never occured due to ICONS going out of business.
