Saw is a 2004 horror film, the first installment of the Saw film series directed by James Wan and written by Wan and Leigh Whannell. The film's story revolves around two men who are kidnapped and locked in an industrial bathroom with a dead body (Jigsaw) between them and given instructions related to escaping. Meanwhile, police detectives investigate and attempt to apprehend the criminal responsible, the "Jigsaw Killer". This is the hero live fire revolver you see Jigsaw (Tobin Bell) holding throughout the film as he lays on the floor pretending to be dead along with Dr. Gordon (Cary Elwes) when he fires it at Adam (Leigh Whannell). This was the only live fire revolver used in the film and is an iconic piece from the SAW franchise.
