Here is my J. Pererman Heart of the Ocean replica. This particular necklace is the only officially licensed replica of the necklace. I purchased it a few years back and I believe I am the third or fourth owner of this necklace. This replica is based upon one of the many original props aquired by the J. Peterman company. It is worth noting that this replica necklace is not based on the necklace seen most prominently in the fim, instead it was based on the other Heart of the Ocean necklace that is only seen briefly during one scene in the film. That particular necklace is believed to be one of the original designs for the Heart of the Ocean which was used during rehersals. However many fans still search for a necklace that more closely resembles the prop seen throughout the film.
