Sunshine, Icarus II Spacesuit Model

Distinctive and claustrophobic spacesuit worn by the crew of the Icarus II, during their increasingly desperate mission to deliver and detonate a stellar bomb directly within the Earth's dying Sun. 

Detailed painted vacuform plastic miniature, 18.25" tall, of the final spacesuit design used during filming. 40 of these, in this size and smaller, were reportedly made at the direction of DNA Films and the Prop Store of London, for limited distribution to film crew and for promotion during the film's initial release; several of these pieces were also sold by the Prop Store during their 2007 Sunshine prop and costume auctions.
