Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium, Hero Sock Monkey

This is the “hero” Sock Monkey used in the 2007 film Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium. There are three rods on the back of the puppet for moving its arms and head. According to director Zach Helm they made at least 50 prototypes of the monkey until they designed one which had the right emotional expression on it’s face. Last picture shows the puppeteers standing behind Henry “The Mutant” Weston controlling the puppets which magically come alive.
