John Carter, Helium Soldier Helmet

This helmet was used in the Disney sci-fi fantasy film John Carter. This style helmet was worn by the soldiers of the Helium army, the race of red martians who take in John Carter.
The helmet has some production wear and damage from extensive use on set, but is one of the ‘hero’ versions, made from fiberglass and has metal detailing and a sliding faceplate, which is unfortunately one of the casualties of filming – the face plate is no longer attached to the sliding part that goes up and down the head.
