Having travelled back in time to Victorian London in fourth season premiere episode Tempus, Helen Magnus forsakes her 21st-century weapons for low-tech pieces such as this wooden tonfa, which she later uses with precision to inflict a much-deserved beating on former associate, fiance, (and Jack the Ripper), John Druitt.
