This one takes batteries, but as this was an adapted prop, it was not intended to work electrically in the production. Some props are designed from pieces of other items or toys and this is one of those. It had been painted and altered by the special effects department of the show. The special effects seen on television for this prop were digitally added after filming. It measures 4" x 2"
