Halloween 2, Halloween II (1981) Replica Mask by Nikolaos Dresios & James Carter

replica movie prop

Presented is a tremendously authentic and accurate replica of the modified Don Post Studios Captain Kirk mask that was worn by Dick Warlock, as the Shape, in Halloween II (1981). The artists responsible for the creation of this one-of-a-kind replica are James Carter, who did the finishing work, and Nikolaos Dresios, who provided the casting. The finishing features a worn-out paint scheme with healthy amounts of flesh tones, particularly on the neck region, and film-accurate weathering. The casting is from a now-broken/discontinued mold, known as the "75K Castle Edition" (that's "Castle" as in Nick Castle, who portrayed the Shape in the film, Halloween (1978)). There are several 75K variants, the "Castle Edition" possessing the most accurate structure to the Captain Kirk mask that was used in Halloween (1978) and Halloween II (1981). This particular replica was finished to resemble the hero Myers mask, as it appeared in Dick Warlock's famous Polaroid photos, which depicted not only the H1/H2 hero Myers mask, but also the screen-used Friday the 13th: Part III, IV, and V Jason Voorhees mask.
