Star Trek: Voyager, HERO "Endgame" Dolphin Phaser Replica (Opining Cowl)

This Amazing Phaser was a Hollow, Myron Stapleton Upgraded to A Full HERO Complete with power bar and illuminating power cells.

The “Dolphin” has A 16 LED power bar that has 8 green, 4 Yellow & 4 red LEDS.

Setting 1-8: Stun and Normal power.

Setting 9-12: Higher power - kill, including A longer firing sound.

Setting 13-16: Kill - vaporize includes An Initial sound followed by A looping sound if you hold the trigger down and then when released, An end sound.

Pressing the right setting button will increase the LED power meter and pressing the left one will decrees it. When the LED bar is full, one more press activates the overload. In overload, the LED bar starts flashing, the overload sound kicks in and the Phaser starts vibrating followed by the explosion sound with a more intense vibration function. the emitter flashes red for every setting and stays solid for the overload.

What really makes this amazing is that you can open the illuminating cowl with no loss of functionality. As a bonus, when the Phaser is at full power, press the trigger, and as a result of opining the cowl, you get a warning:

"Warning energy reserves reaching critical stage"

and then the phaser powers off. When the cowl is closed the leds in the power cells stay off to conserve battery power witch also eliminates light spillage.
Special thanks goes out to the talented David Christion who made this Phaser a reality. David had Mentiond to me that this Set of elctronincs is the prototype that uses VARY bright LEDS for the Power Conduits.

As of today 10/11/2012,I have compleated the repaint in to the Voyager "Endgame" version (Voyager final) with the Black Emitter This was my Nemesis Phaser that i repainted as the Emitter and buttons do not look like real Chrome as the Nemesis Phaser would look. I hope to get A new Nemesis with Updated Electronincs and Chromed parts.
