The Legend of Zorro, Gun Holster from The Legend of Zorro
original movie prop weapon
This holster was made for The Legend of Zorro” by Victor Perez, its production is dated 2004.
What I found out so far. (Directly from his son)
Victor Perez made about 20 holsters for “The Legend of Zorro” movie. He was very close with Alex Green (Anthony Hopkins’ stunt double) who traded studio stuff with Victor in exchange for his holsters.
Victor Perez worked under Andy Anderson since he was about 17. Andy is the only one to make all of Clint Eastwood’s rigs for all his movies. Andy would give orders to Victor and he would work out of his garage to fill them.
A lot of people didn\'t know that Victor, for maybe 15 years, did a lot of Andy\'s work until later. Then Andy got sick and gave all his equipment to Victor to continue working. This was round the 1978- 1980.
Andy passed about 1992 and Victor passed away in 2020.
Andy started his shop in 1957 and is best know in California with his fast draw rigs.
*The Polaroid attached says “bad guy” but I still wonder if any of you could help me with any other insights.
