original movie prop

Launched with nuclear Armageddon, Apocalypse‘s apocalypse was only the beginning as the star-studded horror anthology took a hard-left turn into a long-promised merging of characters from earlier seasons of the FX anthology. The eighth season of the 2018 series American Horror Story: Apocalypse; has been described as a crossover between the first and third seasons of the series. This “Guide to the Apocalypse” was used by the “The Cooperative” in multiple episodes as being the guide leading them through the nuclear disaster.  It is currently unknown when The Cooperative was formed but they had advance knowledge of the nuclear apocalypse that occurred in 2020, leading to them purchasing underground buildings that they converted into extravagant fallout shelters. In American Horror Story, the Cooperative is inspired by the Illuminati; historically referring to an Enlightenment-era secret society, pop culture and conspiracy theories conflated the term with the New World Order and other similar organizations, supposedly controlling the world. The Cooperative members would never admit to being in the organization which consists of a hundred members. According to Michael Langdon, the Cooperative is made up of world leaders, tech giants, media moguls, and cultural influencers. They control the money, the arts, the armies, the thoughts, and runs the world. Multiple guides were seen used and even has custom printed pages with information about some members and direction on how the Cooperative should work
