Green Lantern, Green Lantern Power Battery

Each member of the Green Lantern Corps wields a power ring, and possesses a power battery to recharge it; in Hal Jordan's case, obtained from the dying alien Lantern Abin Sur.

 

Full size replica, made of translucent green-black 'cold cast porcelain', with nice detailing.  Illumination activates on placing the included magnetic ring against either battery face, quickly rising to a bright glow and then fading after a short time.

 

This design, dramatically different from the comic book lantern batteries, has been widely panned by fans.  Having never read the comic myself, I like it.
