This item was used in the movie "Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Cruse Of The Black Pearl" in 2003. Captain Jack Sparrow was played by Johnny Depp in the movie. This item is a metal gold painted pirate coin from a treasure cave. I have it displayed in a black frame with a signed movie studio card. The autographs are in silver permanent marker and they were obtained at the original premiere of the movie. The signatures are of Johnny Depp’s and Orlando Bloom’s and the COA is displayed in the back of the frame.
This coin can be seen during the beginning of the movie and at the end of the movie. These coins can be seen among the treasure and Aztec gold pieces on the island where the cruse was placed on the crew of the Black Pearl. They need Will Turner’s (Orlando Bloom) blood to be freed from the cruse because his father once was a pirate on the crew of the Black Pearl. This item was originally purchased through an Ebay auction and the COA is through the Walt Disney Company. “Prepare to be blown out of the water!”
