Xena: Warrior Princess, Gabrielle’s villager costume

This is Gabrielle’s screen-worn villager costume from the first part of season 1, complete from the patterned bolero jacket all the way down to the leather boots still smeared with dried-up New Zealand mud. Renée O’Connor’s name tags are sewn into the lining of just about every component of this piece of TV history. I have screen matched the fabrics to several episodes so far, including “Hooves and Harlots”, “Cradle of Hope”, and “The Reckoning.” The costume was originally auctioned through It’s A Wrap! Hollywood in 2001.
