Xena: Warrior Princess, Gabrielle's archangel wings and harness

From the great episode Fallen Angel. Lucy, Renee, and the other archangels wore huge real wings in this episode. They all looked pretty alike but this pair belonged to Renee. They came with the harness also pictured which is labeled as Renee's. The wings have a mechanism which fits into slots in a mechanical part attached to the back of the harness. When assembled these mechanical parts support he wings and also controlled their movement and opening and closing. I just love these because they show the sheer will of the propmakers and actors to be as authentic as possible and go to great lengths to achieve lofty goals. With these wings, Renee actually was hoisted up, and flew. Wow!
