24, GARY MATHESON'S DAY 2 LICENSE PLATES

This set of screen used California license plate props that read 4LAQ948 were utilized during DAY 2 of the thrilling television series "24", starring Kiefer Sutherland.  The prop plates can be seen in episode 2 on the vehicle belonging to "Gary Matheson" played by Billy Burke.  Kim Bauer worked as a babysitter for Gary and discovered that Gary was a violent and abusive father.  Kim then took Gary's daughter and fled in Gary's vehicle to escape.  A dramatic chase ensued with Gary trying to capture them.  These prop plates can be clearly seen on the vehicle during those scenes.  Later in season 2, Kim Bauer shockingly shot and killed Gary Matheson as her heoic father Jack Bauer was on the phone instructing her to kill him to save her own life !  This set of prop plates was originally purchased in a lot of set used props from a studio auction in California.
