Fresh off his Honorary Academy Award win for the RKO short "THE HOUSE I LIVE IN" Sinatra was named MODERN SCREEN Magazine's Man Of The Year in October 1946. The award itself was a full size bust done by Jo Davidson (1883-1952) the finest portrait sculptor of the 20th century. Frank had several smaller ones cast in the image of the award and gave them to close friends and associates. This one is from his longtime pal Jilly Rizzo (1917-1992) who is buried with Sinatra and his family in Palm Springs.
