Feast, FEAST Hero Mechanical Female Head

The mechanical female monster head used in the horror film Feast. This head is an animatronic version used for all scenes when a close up head shot was needed, the jaw is operated by cables running down the back of the head and would have been operated by a member of the team. This was created by one of the leading special Effects Artists in the industry. Made from foam rubber with plastic ‘hair’ appliances inserted in the back of the head and a collection of pointed acrylic teeth, the skull has 'cracked' detailing and central protruding bone, the head still has traces of fake blood used on set. The cables at the back of the head control the ‘up and down’ motion of the jaw. Also has a digital hookup in the back. Comes on a stand for display, measures 48cm high (18”)
