Star Trek: Generations, Enterprise-B Bridge Stanchions

original set dressing / pieces

This is a pair of 'end-cap' bridge stanchions from the set of the Enterprise NCC-1701-B Bridge from the movie Star Trek: Generations and was purchased through Propworx.  A close examination indicates that this is one of two back-to-back sets that created a mini-rail of two endcaps at the front of the Bridge on either side of the view screen with the middle of the railing being lower.  The shape of this set with the other details would make this the set to the left of the view screen from the perspective of the Captain's chair.

Screen-caps are included to show the end-cap design, the design of the stanchions in general, and an example of the ending of other bridge railing with do dedicated end-cap stanchions.

Though these are certified only as being from the Enterprise-B, the same railings (therefore these stanchions) were used in set re-dresses in Star Trek: The Undiscovered Country on both the Enerprise-A and the Excelsior bridges.

Screen-caps from both movies and all three ship Bridges (same set, redressed) show the same front railing on the bridge with the same endcap design.

So, essentially, these two pieces are from THREE Starships (two of them the Enterprise) spanning two movies.

UPDATE:

I made these same endcaps available to Star Trek:Renegades (a fan film with Walter Koenig and Tim Russ who were both on the Ent. B set with these stanchions) and they were used for one day of shooting in a 'renegade' ship (visible behind the Captain's chair (the Captain in this case being Khan's daughter).  A Renegades screen-cap is included here as well.
