This great-looking handgun, which fires electromagnetically-encapsulated plasma pulses, sees use by Starfleet in the early 22nd century before being largely replaced by the phase pistol in the 2150s.

Static resin replica, first generation cast from a screenused prop, painted in colors accurate to the series premiere episode Broken Bow.  The same design in different color schemes is seen in use later in the series by civilians, aliens, and MACO soldiers.
