Captain America: The First Avenger, Dr. Abraham Erskine's Recruitment Center costume

original movie costume

Anybody who is on the hunt for any significant pieces from CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER knows how exceedingly difficult it is to source and acquire them.

So I am pumped that I have been able to pick up this Dr. Abraham Erskine recruitment center costume from the film.

This costume was originally auctioned off at the Captain America Profiles in History auction years ago.

It did not come with shoes or a tie (and I couldn't acquire the glasses) so I sourced a similar tie, same make of the shoes that were auctioned off with the Rebirth costume and a pair of vintage 1920's glasses that match the same style.

The jacket, vest and pants have Marvel costume barcodes in them and the jacket also has a label pinned to the interior with "Dr. Erskine Stanley Tucci" handwritten on it.

The original costume consists of a jacket, vest, shirt, pants and suspenders.

Even better, I was able to screen match the jacket which is always icing on the cake!

Dr. Erskine is one of my absolute favorite characters in the film. Stanley Tucci's performance is nuanced and impactful. Furthermore, he is wearing this costume when he identifies Steve and eventually chooses him for the Super Soldier program which of course leads him to becoming Captain America.

So stoked :D

Thanks for looking!
