Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, Davy Jones' "Dead Mans" Chest
made from scratch movie prop
Built around an antique timber chest as a basis, the raised beveling on the surface is MDF with domed tacks. Details are a combination of cast resin, with a 3d printed non functional crab lock. The chest was then finished in Sculpt Nouveau Iron B paints with several chemical patina passes for antiquing.
