American Bandstand, Dave Seville Duck Puppet

A large articulated duck puppet, built and operated by famed puppeteer Morey Bunin, for Dave Seville to sing his top 40 hit "Bird On My Head" on AMERICAN BANDSTAND in July of 1958. Seville was fresh from his number one hit THE WITCHDOCTOR that Bunin had also made the puppet of that Dave used a few months earlier in April. Bunin was NY based and was known for his FODINI and Lucky Pup TV show. The next year Seville introduced ALVIN and The CHIMPMUNKS which were also Bunin puppets before becoming animated cartoons.
