Darth Maul's double bladed lightsaber was an instant hit with the star wars fandom. Coupled with his sinister red and black tattoos and his lightning-quick moves, Darth Maul has proven himself to be one of the more fearsome sith. He constructed his lightsaber using four synthetic kyber crystals, intricately placed within the electronics of his hilt to illuminate both ends forming a saber staff. Maul's lightsaber allowed him to make fatal strikes with little movement and effort. He could also control which side of the saber to ignite using one of several control switches. Master Replicas' engineers were given a screen-used prop to base their designs on; the quality and effort of their work leads to this very accurate and highly saught-after piece signed by Ray Park who portrayed the character on screen.
