As Icons fell into bankruptcy in 2000, the last remaining Icons founder was asked to consult on the development of a new licensed prop replica company, Timeless Collectibles. As part of the deal, Timeless agreed to fulfill a number of remaining Icons back-orders, provided the appropriate licenses could be obtained; Terminator 2 was the first license acquired. Timeless did a superb job in terms of quality and delivery, but was not able to acquire the funding necessary to increase production (in the midst of the dotcom collapse), and therefore also disappeared after just 12 short months in business.
