The Fifth Element (5th), Costume design ‘Diva’ Hands

original production material

A life cast of Maiwenn Le Besco’s hands, the French actress who played the phenomenal blue Diva Plavalaguna in Luc Besson’s movie The Fifth Element.
The hands are made of plaster and were created so they could design, make and fit the astounding blue full body costume (in this case the sleeve/glove portion) without having her present all the time.
The cast includes the forearm and hands and encompasses her long slender fingers. There is a hole drilled into the back of each wrist to display it during production.
