Battlestar Galactica, Colonial Distinguished Service Medallion

This 2" x 2" prop medallion was made from accurate vintage medals. Casted in resin and hand-painted in pale gold lacquer and ready to wear utilizing the integrated tie tacks. Also included is a red band of ribbon (not pictured).
The original prop was first worn by Commander Cain (Lloyd Bridges) in the two-part episode "The Living Legend". In the episode "Take the Celestra", the medallion has been awarded to Commander Kronus (Paul Fix) for his achievements at the battle of Cosmara Archipelago, where he commanded the Battlestar Rycon. An alternative silver version of the medallion can be seen being worn by Colonel Boomer (Herbert Jefferson, Jr.) in "Galactica 1980".
