Team America: World Police, Chris Roth Puppet Double

original movie prop

Team America: World Police is a satire of big-budget action films and their associated clichés and stereotypes, with particular humorous emphasis on the global implications of the politics of the United States. The title is derived from domestic and international political criticisms that the foreign policy of the United States frequently and unilaterally tries to "police the world". Featuring a cast of supermarionettes, Team America depicts a paramilitary police known as "Team America: World Police", who attempt to save the world from a terrorist plot led by Kim Jong-il. This is a puppet double of Chris Roth, a member of Team America. The puppet is very posable and wearing a complete World Police outfit with the rifle being made of metal and plastic, is sewn to its jacket and glued to his hand to ensure it not falling when being used. The puppets height is 13 inches and his glasses, rope, pistol and boots are all removable.  The rope he is holding is a couple of feet long  and wired to his arm and leg as the main purpose was to be used for the movie poster in the picture of two puppets repelling down from the helicopter. Any full type of puppets from the film is extremely rare and a great piece from a creators of South Park, Matt Stone and Trey Parker.
