Here is some Hollywood magic for ya. I wondered how Jason clipped the cables on his tongue and chest without serious damage? The prop department replaced the high tension springs with soft tension springs, and dipped the tips of the clips in clear silicon rubber. If you look closely on the trailer, you can see the rubber line half way up the clips, and air bubbles in the silicon.
