This chair back was acquired by the production for use in 'A Masterpiece of Murder' (20th Century Fox Television, 1986). 

Dan Dolan (Bob Hope) is an ex-Beverly Hills police detective who's down on his luck after a losing streak at the races. When wealthy art collector Jonathon Hire (Kevin McCarthy) picks Dolan to head security at the social event of the year - Hire's own birthday party - Dolan jumps at the opportunity. But at the party, two things go disastrously wrong for Dolan: he bumps into Frank Aherne (Don Ameche), a former millionaire cat burglar who Dolan once sent to jail; and Jonathon Hire is mysteriously poisoned. This Made for TV Movie also starred Jayne Meadows, Claudia Christian, Yvonne De Carlo, Anne Francis, Frank Gorshin, Stella Stevens and Jamie Farr. 

This was the only made-for-TV movie that Bob Hope ever made.
