Tricorder 'borrowed' from a guard by Elim Garak during fifth season episode Things Past. Garak uses the device to discover the new identities of himself, Sisko, Odo and Dax, when the four find themselves apparently transported seven years into the past, living as Bajoran laborers about Cardassian space station Terok Nor.
