Planet of the Apes, CHIMP WARRIOR BATTLE HELMET PROP COA

original movie prop

This is a real POTA helmet. It was designed by Colleen Atwood the Academy Award winner in 2003 and 2006 for best costume design. It has great chain mail all around the neck and a faux snake skin trim. This was used for filming. It shows scratches, cracks and a few chips.It has felt lining inside (some is a bit loose). Inside is a hand written notation "5 3/8" and "260 El Kadi". It has no chin strap.
