This is a set of cast rubber chimp warrior chest and back armor with woven leather sleeves that was custom made for, and used during filming of the Tim Burton movie from 2001
This set consists of a complete chimp warrior chest armor. The chest plate has a wicked looking snake-ape as decoration, and an extender plate hanging from the bottom that has a monkey (it has a tail) that appears to be biting a seashell. Inside is a hand written notation stating the name of the actor who wore this during filming. It reads "Brian LaRosa" but that name is crossed out, it also reads "Keiffer". The back plate has a pair of dragon-apes... plus an extender plate hanging from the bottom. The sleeves are woven leather and are painted to look more exotic. This set shows scuffs and areas of missing foam rubber.
