SeaQuest DSV, CGO Garden Remote Control

This is the CGO garden remote control prop which was used in the 2nd season by actor Dom Deluise. This one of a kind fully working electronic prop, has two movable toggles, two adjustment dials and a series of coloured flashing LED globes that flicker in a set pattern when the prop is switched on. The unit requires 8 AA batteries and looks to be made out of a standard remote control for small scale remote control toy planes.

The episode in which this prop was specifically used was title "Vapor's" and in this episode Tony Piccolo has to see his estranged father Nick Piccolo, played by Dom Deluise. Nick asks Tony to go and find a special box which he is hiding from tony's mother who is using the contents inside the box to look younger then she actually is. After Tony finds the box in a playground, he takes it to the Seaquest to find out what these special pills are doing to his mothers to make her look so young. When Tony gets the results he approaches his father out the front of his father's house and Nick is using the CGO control prop to trim a small hedge in front of his front porch. The prop acts like a futuristic laser trimming tool which cuts off a small section of the top of the hedge.
